The Yes4Vets Committee is a grassroots effort comprised of local veterans in the community and organized for the Veterans Millage that will be on the ballot in November 2023. The millage will generate over 1 million dollars to adequately fund the Kalamazoo County Veterans Service Office and provide 12,824 veterans the benefits and services they need.

Problem

Solution

CCM was hired to create branding collateral and videos for their campaign efforts. Three specific target audiences and campaigns were created for maximum exposure and engagement. Currently, campaign efforts have resulted in over 85,000+ people engaging in online campaigns, and 200,000 times the campaigns have been watched.

Services

Three unique videos were created for this campaign. One was specifically designed to great general awareness that a Veterans Millage was coming, and providing need-to-know information. The second video was a series that showcased our amazing local veterans. And finally, the third video focused on the origin story of Yes For Kalamazoo Veterans, debunking what many believed to be a government entity. This final video focused on the 7 veterans who volunteered their time fighting to better serve their local veterans. 

Social media 

Social media efforts had to be engaging, informative and personal. Many viewed the millage as another push by governmental entities to raise taxes without realizing the grassroots effort put on by seven community veterans. Through visual support and successful storytelling, Currently, campaign efforts have resulted in over 85,000+ people engaging in online campaigns, and 200,000 times the campaigns have been watched.

Print materials were needed for parades, gold

tournaments, meetings, and other information signage. We created t-shirts, yard signs, brochures and newsletters that we're on brand and gave impactful information in a limited amount of space.
